Thursday March 8: Celebrity Recital

This year marks the Vann Vocal Institute’s 11th Anniversary Celebration! Internationally acclaimed opera star David Cangelosi, who serves as the Institute’s Artistic/Program Director, is bringing a world-renowned guest faculty of operatic artists to join him at Huntingdon College. In honor of the beginning of VVI’s second decade, these esteemed faculty members will perform their annual ‘Celebrity Recital’ on Thursday March 8, 2018 (7:00 p.m.) Ligon Chapel-Flowers Hall, Huntingdon College. This concert is free and open-to-the-public.

Friday March 9: David Cangelosi Master Class

VVI Program Director, David Cangelosi, will teach his highly anticipated public master class from         9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Ligon Chapel-Flowers Hall, Huntingdon College.

Saturday March 10: ‘Super Master Class’ followed by ‘Emerging Artists Recital Competition’

The VVI faculty professionals from the exciting world of opera will conduct a Super Master Class for participating student vocalists on Saturday March 10, from 9:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Ligon Chapel-Flowers Hall, Huntingdon College.

*The Vann Vocal Institute concludes with an ‘Emerging Artists Recital Competition’, featuring the most accomplished of the participating young singers on Saturday March 10 at 5:00 p.m. Ligon Chapel-Flowers Hall, Huntingdon College. $11,000 in prize money will be awarded!
