MONTGOMERY YOUTH ORCHESTRA

The Montgomery Youth Orchestra is sponsored by the Montgomery Symphony League.  With the League's guidance and financial support, the Youth Orchestra rehearses weekly to prepare two concerts each season which are offered to the public without charge.

MEMBERSHIP AND AUDITIONS

Each year, approximately 70 young musicians from public and private schools throughout central Alabama participate in the Montgomery Youth Orchestra.  Placement in the orchestra is by audition, which will be held in the Choir Room of Eastmont Baptist Church, 4505 Atlanta Highway on September 8, 2018.  Auditions will start at 9:45 a.m. at Eastmont Baptist Church. The entire group will warm up together and after the warm up session, prospective members will audition. For more information or to pre-register, contact Montgomery Youth Orchestra Manager Robin Rawls at 334-414-1261 or rdrawls@charter.net
